What a disappointment to see Michael Moore operating as a typical Hollywood liberal. If there's any difference between him and Spielberg or Streisand, I can't think of it. That's what happens when you get rich in the movie business--you sell out.

Michael, we are again in a sorry state of affairs...corporations buying elections and disregarding the health and well being of its citizens. Banks and pharmaceutical companies with too much power...elections being bought and paid for by hidden contributions....women, children, the elderly and poor paying the price for it all....not my world....certainly not the one I grew up in. We need a new uprising...whether from anger or from frustration....we must regain our ability to demonstrate and gather in large protest groups just as we did in the sixties....stop the wars....and care again! The GOP is NOT the Grand Old Party and Ronald Reagan was the beginning of the end....unless we learn to do something about it.

In reference to "..YES BUSH GLOBAL WARMING DOES EXISTS..", I heard something very funny while at the Library at my university the other day. A girl, being boisterous and opinionated, claimed, "..why can't people just admit man-made global warming exists??! It's not like anyone is going to make money off it! People are such idots!"

I assume you are as naive as this woman. I hope you have been following the corruption of the IPCC (data manipulation, refusing to provide data for peer-review, politcal pay-offs, etc...). Interesting fact for you: Dr Rajendra Pachauri, head of IPCC, has his PhD in ECONOMICS. Not geology. He has 2 seperate companies which stand to make BILLIONS if the cap-and-trade goes into affect.

...if you don't know this saying, it's OK. Judging by your unsubstantiated arguments, I assume you aren't well versed in the area of politics.

Hi! enjoy your movies! They make you think. I came to this country in 1963 as a legal inmigrant from a 3rd world country. I did like many things. Way things are now is as if my old country moved here! I have hundreds of pet-peeves; just to mention two: 1) It seems as if our government considers honest american citizens as of no importance and disposable( Sorry) and 2) back in 1960 an uncle of mine ( from Argentina)went into a business trip to USA and the Soviet Union. He thought that Russia was the most miserable country he ever saw. He couldn't figure out how they could support such a huge army (they could not.That's why they went broke). Neither can we . Maybe our government could abstain from governing other countries that did not vote for them?

Hey I just watched this 2/20/09, BUT I LOVED it. Michael Moore draws you in to his fabric of action and dissent. Great music. Great rhetoric. He moves audiences. He puts the "human" in "human discourse." It's four plus years later. Bush won in 2004. We all won in 2008! Moore did his part. We all did our parts. Together we prevailed! Thanks be to God...to us all...to Michael Moore!!!

Another excellent film by Michael Moore. I think though that he was wrong about who won the 2004 election. That election was seriously stolen. Unfortunately, one of the people who could tell us more about that fact is no longer with us, having died in a plane crash which is currently under investigation, Mike Connell. He was the IT guy at the center of the election controversy and the email scandal. I suggest people pay attention to the Mike Connell story (there has been a virtual corporate media blackout though, so details are sketchy).

Anyhow, thanks Michael Moore!!!

I voted Democrat, always have and always will. I believe the Republicans DON'T MAKE SENSE at all. They are anti-abortion but can careless if kids get health care, but yet they want those same kids to join the military. I'm sorry but the republican party doesn't makes sense. Another eye opening experience courtesy of Michael Moore. Thankfully the American people got it right this time around. As their neighbour to the north, we are affected by the political movements of American. Now if only America could get their voting systems figured out. I'm a Canadian that watched the recent election with extreme interest. And I wish I had seen this movie before the election. To me, this movie wasn't about democrats and republicans...it was about the power of a vote. The power to make a change.

In the Canada and the US, we are extremely fortunate to be able to vote. Why do people forfeit that opportunity? Don't complain about the government if you can't take time out of your day to make an X on a ballot. The government will never make everybody happy...but all of us that can vote have a voice. Use it.

Say what you will about Michael. I think most people get lost on the media's propaganda, and miss the entire message of his films. And the message is always "Things need to change for the better.".

With that said, I thought this movie was good. There were a lot of good moments in this film. It made me very proud to be an American, because I realized we have more freedom than most nay-sayers would like you to believe.

We're not weak, or slackers at all. Maybe a little misguided at times. But this film is living proof that if we all work together, we can make things happen.

Now, we may have won the 2008 election with Obama, but the problems are not gone. We need to all work together.

I'm a watcher from Canada who had an American mother. So my loyalties lie both sides of the Border. I hate the senselessness of the War and War. When the folks in the audience cheered the one soldier who stood up it made me cry! My Poppa served in WW on and WW 2, and Korea. I really think they do send the poor folks off to war and then when they get home there is no help for them. They come back damaged and the government don't even say thanks. Michael Moore has certainly outdone himself with this movie. I think it was a stroke of genius to let it be FREE too. So all the folks who might not see it could see it online or on DVD, whatever. What a remarkable and enlightened guy he is. Hopefully he has a suprise up his sleeve once more when he develops all the Obama election scenes and puts them into a movie as well. It might have taken 4 more years but the American people did turf the idiots from office. I never realized til watching the movie just how dangerous it might be for someone to take on the government in that manner either? Wow! The students who stood up and said "Yes We Can" and to Michael Moore who showed them how I say my hat is off to you on a most excellent job. God Bless and Full Speed Ahead to the good old US of A and Michael too.

I just saw this movie about two weeks ago and I thought it was a movie before its time. I loved it and thought Moore should have made for this election year instead of 2004. But I believe it serves as a learning experience even though the democrats lost it gave a complling argument for the next election.

I and many of my peers are so proud of the youth in this country, you have made us very proud of the USA and how we should be. We fought long and hard back in the 60's-70's for civil rights and equaiity for all. We were maced, beaten, went to jail but always had our vision that we never lost. It took a very evil stupid president that stole the election in 2000 to make the young people to say, hell no, no more. Thank you one and all for standing up for what is right and making those years so long ago all worth the pain and deaths of so many. We finally overcame, thank you.
